SASSA APOLOGISES FOR GRANT PAYMENT DELAYS

 

Sassa has apologized for the inconvenience caused due to late grant payment

Grant beneficiaries are yet to receive their grant for last month aswell as April

Sassa has advised that the delay is due to it having to complete it’s Financial year tasks

Sassa Spokesperson Paseka Letsatsi has assured beneficiaries that they will receive a double payment at the end of the month

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced at the State of the Nation address that, Cabinet has decided to extend the COVID-19 TERS benefit until 15 March 2021 and only for those sectors that have not been able to operate. And that The conditions of this extension and the sectors to be included will be announced after consultations with social partners at Nedlac.”
