13-year-old Zesuliwe Mazubane from Port Shepstone in KwaZulu-Natal who was diagnosed with one of the most aggressive forms of leukaemia in January, is in need of a stem cell transplant.
Mazubane was meant to start High School at the time of
her diagnosis
To date, attempts to get a Transplant both locally and
internationally have not yielded any positive matches.
Since then, she has been in and out of hospital
following chemotherapy for refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia which
is said to be one of the most aggressive forms of Leukaemia
The donor recruitment officer Siphokazi Dyasi, said they
are looking for black donors and they call on coloured, Indians and blacks to
come forward and sign up.
