SADAG Overwhelmed with call volumes amid ongoing Violence

With Ongoing unrest continuing in some parts of the Country The South African Depression and Anxiety Group namely (Sadag) has received an increase in calls from distressed people seeking help.

Malls, businesses, warehouses and factories have been looted and vandalised.

The unrest has devastated many livelihoods not only financially but mentally

Civil society organisation, Right2Know has urged President Cyril Ramaphosa and Minister of State Security Ayanda Dlodlo to name and shame some of the State Security Agency’s (SSA) agents who fuelled the violent and destructive protests in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.

The Government wants 25,000 more soldiers in addition to be deployed to Gauteng and Kwazulu-Natal in efforts to reunite South Africans and to put an end to the violence terrorising the two provinces.
