Four arrested for drugs worth R40 000

Western Cape police arrested four suspects after they were found to be concealing drugs.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said  in Impala Street in Ceres, two man and two woman were arrested on charges of dealing in drugs with an estimated amount of R40 00. According to police the suspects will be making their first court appearance on Thurday.

In a separate incident, five suspects were arrested in Kraifontein on charges of attempted murder, possession of a unlicensed firearm and ammunition and discharging a firearm in a residential area.
