The decomposed body of a woman was found in a river near Tulbagh, in the Western Cape on Tuesday.
Residents believe it might be
the body of a 26-year-old woman reported missing in the area several weeks ago.
The victim was found close to
where the body of eight-year-old Reagan Gertse was found dumped in March 2020.
The gruesome discovery came
not long after the bodies of two woman believed to have been raped, before being
murdered- were found in canals in langa and Gugulethu. The enraged by these crimes Langa residents attacked and killed a man they
believed was involved with the murder of one of the victim.
Denouncing the vigilante attack,
police say they are now investigating both the murders and the vigilante
killing of the man whom they still have to identify.
