The members involved in the operation pursued information pertaining to a truck with cargo that was hijacked in Bishop Lavis, travelling from Strand in the direction of Paarl. The members followed the truck until it stopped in Northern Paarl. The members descended on the truck as well as a Renault Sandero that was escorting the truck and searched the occupants as well as the cargo loaded on the truck.
