Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi praises Home Affairs for ensuring the safety of 2023 online admissions.

The Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi led a media briefing at the Jeppe High School Boys in Joburg on Thursday.

During the briefing, the MEC said they had separate applications in 2021 for grades 1 and grades, however the MEC also indicated that both applications would go through a single process. This means parents will able to apply for both applications at the same time.

The MEC added that the system will get a high volume of applications that could lead to the system crashing but the MEC did assure parents that it won`t happen due to the improvements made in the system and no one will be left in the application process.

The MEC will assist parents to apply as the system will be opening at 8am on Friday at Mohlakeng Recreation Centre.
