Police investigate the shooting of 2 off duty Police officers in Khayelitsha

Police in the Western Cape are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that occurred at Swartklip and Masemola road at Ikhwezi Park in Khayelitsha involving two off duty police officers aged 29 and 30, while on their way home.

Police spokesperson, FC Van Wyk said both officers were injured and taken to the nearest medical facility

‘’Circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation,’’ said Van Wyk.

Police have urged any residents for assistance in identifying the culprits to contact the crime stop number on 08600 10 111 or the MySAPSApp.
