Cape Town make-up artist stabbed to death

28 year-old Suritha Alting was stabbed and killed on Saturday in Bothasig

The make-up artist was found bleeding from multiple wounds to her body in Sylvia Street, Richwood.

According to the police, the victim was walking home from a restaurant close to her home where she was robbed of her belongings and stabbed multiple times.

“SAPS members received a complaint and on arrival they spoke to two security officers who were standing with this injured unknown female. She was found with multiple stab wounds to the body”, police said.

Police added that an ambulance was called and the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment where she later died due to the injuries she sustained.

Bothasig police are investigating the murder as the motive of the killing is unknown at the moment.
