Suspect arrested for unlicensed firearm and illigal dealings

A 32-year-old man was arrested in Tumahole, Freestate for having an unlicensed firearm, dagga dealings, stolen copper cables and damaging municipal infrastructure. 

The Tumahole crime prevention  and constables received a tip-off about this man being in possession of an unlicensed firearm at a house Winnie Section, Tumahole.

The search led to finding the house members with  two 9mm pistols, three 7.65 mm live rounds, 2.1kg dagga, undisclosed amount of cash and copper cable. 

The suspect will appear in Parys Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
