A woman was killed after being hit by a train today at Heathfield station in Cape Town.
According to the eyewitness, Pastor Charles White, the
victim was rushing to Newlands to sell her feather dusters and brooms when the
incident occurred. The pastor added that the victim was partially blind.
The community members are blaming the broken fence for the
tragic incident as they claim that they have been asking Prasa for years to repair
the fence along the track and they have all the correspondence
