Metro Police officers arrested a 54-year-old man in Grassy Park on Tuesday, after he was found with drugs with an estimated street value of more than R25 000.
‘’At around 10:30, the officers acted on a tip off, and
sought permission to conduct a search of the premises. They found various
quantities of heroin, mandrax, tik and ecstasy hidden in a tumble dryer, as
well as several hundred rand in cash,’’ said Superintendent Ruth Solomons.
The suspect was detained at Grassy Park SAPS and will
appear before the Wynberg Magistrates Court on a charge of possession of drugs.
