Cape Town Central SAPS are investigating a case of attempted murder following a shooting incident which occurred on Somerset Road, Green Point on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, unknown gunmen opened fire at an adult male, wounding him.
PICTURE: SAPSPolice spokesperson FC van Wyk, says that investigations are still in their early stages, and any more information on the case is welcome.
"At arrival on the scene the members were informed that the victim was already taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Investigation is at an early stage, therefor no further detail can be divulged. Crime Scene experts are still on the scene combing the area for clues," said van Wyk.
