The police’s FC van Wyk said cellphones and camera equipment was taken from the staff. He added that Woodstock police and a private security company were alerted and responded to the complaint.

‘’The cellular telephones were tracked to Delft at a petrol service station whereby two males suspects aged 33 and 34 were arrested in a  getaway vehicle. All the stolen cellular telephones were recovered in the vehicle and handed over to the lawful owners at SAPS Woodstock,’’ said Captain F.C van Wyk

Van Wyk said the suspects will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates court once charged.

In July 2023, a film crew shooting footage for a local reality television show was reportedly held at gunpoint and robbed of equipment worth nearly R1 million in Langa.
