A man is recovering in hospital after being shot at N1 City Mall
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was shot at N1 City Mall, on Wednesday morning.
The police's Joseph Swartbooi said police are investigating
a case of attempted murder.
He added that the man was on his way to the bank to make a
cash deposit.
“Goodwood police responded to a complaint on Wednesday 13
December 2023. Upon their arrival at a local shopping complex at about 10:30,
they found an unknown man close to a retail store who sustained multiple
gunshot wounds. The victim was transported
to a nearby Hospital for medical treatment. The unknown suspects fled
the scene and are yet to be arrested
''Reports suggested that the victim was on his way to a
financial institution to effect a cash deposit. Upon walking to the entrance of
the building, three unknown armed men reportedly jumped out of a vehicle,
firing numerous gun shots at the victim, causing serious injuries,'' said Warrant Officer, Joseph Swartbooi.
