A Limpopo teenage girl allegedly raped at Tshakhuma

 Levubu police in Limpopo are searching for four men who were involved in the rape of a 15-year-old girl on Saturday.

The victim reportedly left her home to buy her mother medication at Tshakuma Market Pharmacy.

On her way back, she boarded a minibus, where she encountered four men who then went in the wrong direction and stopped next to Tshiemuemu Secondary School.

The suspects took her to the nearby bushes, where she was raped by one of them.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, says the victim was later released and the suspects drove off.

“A manhunt has since been launched for their arrest.”

Meanwhile, acting provincial commissioner of police in Limpopo, Major General Jan Scheepers has condemned the incident and further tasked the team of investigators to trace and arrest the wanted men.
