Joslin Smith case postponed

Four suspects appeared in the Vredenburg Magistrate's Court, on Thursday morning, regarding the disappearance of 6-year-old Joshlin Smith from Saldahna Bay.

Two of the suspects that appeared in court were Joshlin's mother as well as the mother's boyfriend. The suspects, Jacquen Rowhan Appollis, Steveno Dumaizio van Rhyn, Racquel Chantel Smith and Phumza Sigaqa face charges of trafficking persons for the purposes of exploitation and kidnapping.

This comes after the police took them in for questioning in connection with the child’s disappearance on Wednesday.

The case has been postponed until the 13th of March. All the suspects will remain in custody for a bail application.
