Man arrested in Bishop Lavis for dealing in illegal dagga

Members attached to Bishop Lavis SAPS on Monday followed up on a tip-off of illegal drug dealing.

Police members conducted a search at a premises situated in Ramsey Avenue in Bishop Lavis. They discovered a substantial quantity of dagga, estimated at a value of about R55 000 inside the premises.

They also found an undisclosed amount of cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal drug trade.    .

A 54-year-old was arrested and he is facing a charge of dealing in drugs. He will appear in the Bishops Lavis Magistrates’ court once charged.
