Two political parties have condemned the removal of election posters.
The Economic Freedom Fighter, alleges that its posters were
removed to discourage voters from voting for the red berets in the upcoming
elections.
The EFF says it will not be deterred by these actions.

Meanwhile, The Alliance of Citizens for Change - the ACC -
filed criminal charges at the Cape Town police station, after some of their
election posters were allegedly removed or damaged. ACC leader, Masizole
Mnqasela, says their posters have been torn from lampposts in Cape Town, the
Overstrand and Breede River municipalities, among others.
He says this behavior amounts to political intolerance and
undermines democracy.
