A 34-year-old male suspect was arrested in Upington for dealing in dagga

Members of the Upington Border Police, Upington K9 unit, and ZFM Highway Patrol received information about drug dealing at a premises in Upington. They executed a search warrant and confiscated dagga with an estimated street value of Eight hundred and fifty-two thousand, five hundred rand.

A 34-year-old male suspect was arrested for dealing in dagga and will appear in court soon.

The police operation was part of the ongoing efforts by the SAPS in the ZFM District to combat the drug trade and get drugs off the streets of the community.
