The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued warnings for Cape Town and surrounding areas.
A Yellow Level 4 warning for disruptive rain, likely leading to localised flooding, has been issued for Tuesday, affecting southern parts of the West Coast, parts of Cape Winelands, City of Cape Town, and western Overberg districts.
Additionally, a Yellow Level 2 warning for damaging winds affecting sea navigation is expected from Cape Point to Plettenberg Bay on Tuesday.
The City's Disaster Risk Management Centre has activated response measures and advised residents to clear drainage systems, raise floor levels, and take precautions against potential flooding.
