Trio arrested for allegedly assaulting e-hailer driver in Ottery

The City of Cape Town’s law enforcement officers arrested 3 suspects for allegedly assaulting an e-hailing driver.

Spokesperson, Wayne Dyason explains that officers were on patrol in Lotus River when they were flagged down by a person bleeding from a wound to his back.

‘’He identified himself as an Uber driver and explained he was just robbed and stabbed by 3 male suspects. The suspects were running on an open field next to a school in Plantation Road Ottery and the officers saw them and gave chase. All 3 suspects were caught and arrested,’’ said Wayne Dyason, City of Cape Town Law Enforcement spokesperson.
