An alleged 34-year-old man is accused of burning shacks in Taiwan, Khayelitsha

A 34-year-old man is accused of burning shacks in Taiwan, Khayelitsha. This comes after, he was allegedly pursuing a 14-year-old romantically, and the minor reported the events to her grandmother. 

The grandmother confronted the man and at the time, it seemed like he would stop, until the minor complained again and the mother took it upon herself to go confront him.

When questioned about the events, the mother said, when she heard that he was still pursuing her daughter, she went to confront him and to question why he keeps stalking her daughter, she said she slapped him around and he said, he’ll show her.

Moments after that, the people of Khayelitsha in Taiwan found themselves homeless after a fire engulfed their shacks.

The suspect was arrested but was later released due insufficient evidence.
