Cold front expected to hit the Western Cape this week


The City of Cape Town’s Disaster Risk Management is on standby ahead of the expected bad weather this week especially on Wednesday.

According to the South African Weather Service (SAWS), a strong cold front will make landfall tomorrow.

The service has issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for damaging winds and disruptive rainfall until Thursday.

City of Cape Town Disaster Risk Management spokesperson, Sonica Lategan, says members of the public must safeguard their properties and be safe during this period.
