Golden Arrow Bus Services passengers expressed frustration as routes ran behind schedule on Friday morning. The service apologized for delays caused, saying this was due to an unexpected technical issue.
“Golden Arrow experienced system issues this morning which delayed some of our services. The systems are now being fully restored and services will operate as per usual in terms of both routes and fares. We apologise sincerely for any inconveniences cause by this unexpected issue,” said GABS spokesperson Brownwen Dyke-Meyer.
The Bus service has also
cleared misinformation circulating stating that Bus Fare will increase on
Monday, 11 May 2026 . Beyer said there is no fare increase on Monday.
“There is no fare increase on
Monday. Our system was down and we didn’t want to inconvenience passengers so
we provided services without charging instead of cancelling services until the
system was restored. The system has now been restored.”
