The search for missing 17-year-old Sarah Rose Starrett from George is ongoing, with authorities urging the public to avoid spreading unverified information.
The
George Community Policing Forum (CPF) has confirmed that social media reports
claiming Sarah has been found are false. Officials have appealed to the public
to rely only on information shared through verified sources as efforts to
locate her continue.
Sarah
was last seen on Sunday, 19 July, in Maitland Street, Blanco, George. Police,
the CPF, and other organisations remain involved in the search operation.
Members
of the public who may have any information that could assist in finding Sarah
are encouraged to contact their nearest police station or provide information
to the relevant authorities.
Authorities
continue to appeal for the community’s support while the search remains active.
