A 16-year-old boy has been shot and killed in Beacon Valley, Mitchells Plain, in a tragic incident that has left the local community shaken.

have launched a murder investigation as they work to determine the
circumstances surrounding the attack.
According to police, the shooting took place in Korfbal Street
at approximately midday.
The teenager sustained two gunshot wounds to the head and
was declared dead at the scene.
Mitchells Plain SAPS has opened a murder case and is
investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting.
At this stage, no arrests have been made, and the motive for
the attack remains unknown.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that could
assist the investigation to come forward and report it to the authorities.
