Another scandal involving urinating on bed sheets has been uncovered at the University of the Free State.
This time, senior students at the Karee residence urinated on a fellow student's bed linen.
The first-year BSc student did not want to be named as he fears for his safety.
He told the media that a group of white students who had been watching rugby pulled the sheets from the line and urinated on them.
They also poured alcohol on the bedding.
Student Representative Council president Moses Masitha says he is aware of the incident, which happened several weeks ago. All the students involved were made to reapply for accommodation in the residence.
Rector Jansen says this was not a race incident.
