Six men who allegedly involve in a R1.5 million fraud scam from SARS offices in Bellville are each out on bail of R15 000.
Four of the accused were arrested at SARS offices in Bellville on Thursday morning while two were arrested in their homes later that day.
Four men were under surveillance for four years before the investigation was handed to the Hawks two months ago.
The men appeared at the Bellville Magistrate’s Court on Friday on the charges of fraud and alternative counts of breaching sections of the Vat and Income Tax Act.
The case has been postponed until next year.
