Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele has called for murder charges for drivers who intentionally violate road traffic rules and drive in a reckless manner resulting in death.
Ndebele was particularly incensed by Monday’s horror crash in the Free State.
It claimed the lives of five pupils and four teachers. It has been alleged that the driver of the truck involved in the crash had not had a professional driving permit and was not meant to be driving the vehicle.
