The African Christian Democratic Party has congratulated former Chief Sandile Ngcobo.
ACDP spokesperson Steve Swart says Ngcobo has guided the judiciary admirably during his term and laid a solid foundation on which to build.
“He has achieved much and pioneered the office of the Chief Justice – which will play a far more important role in ensuring that there is better access to justice for all.
“The ACDP would also like to congratulate the new Chief Justice, Justice Mogeong on his appointment,” said Swart.
Swart added that the Chief Justice’s unfair treatment shows a deep misunderstanding in this post modern era as to the relationship between the sacred and secular as carefully crafted in our Constitution.
