The Airports Company of South Africa has confirmed reports that there is a jet fuel shortage at the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Acsa spokesperson Unathi Batyashe-Fillis says levels are lower than the normal five-day stockpile, but maintains that this is not a crisis.
She says the shortage is due to delivery problems, but they are working to resolve the matter soon.
South Africa is experiencing fuel shortage and authorities say they hope the problem will be sorted out by the end of this month.
