The SA National Roads Agency Limited says they will soon make an announcement on the sale of toll road e-tags.
This is despite the fact that Transport Minister S’bu Ndebele last week instructed the company to halt all phases of their proposed electronic highway tolling system in Gauteng due to public outcry.
Sanral’s Alex van Niekerk says they will push forward with the sale of e-tags as planned.
In Cape Town the construction of tolling system has also been put on hold for further investigation.
