Dennis Sauls was
handed down a hefty sentence on Friday 28 January 2022 by Western Cape high
court. This comes after the
accused was convicted for the double murder of two 16-year-old boys in
May 2020. According to The Provincial Commissioner of the Western Cape
Lieutenant General Thembisile Patekile investigations came to an end when the
accused entered into a plea bargain with the state. He was found guilty
on the two counts of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment on each count,
for the possession of an unlicensed firearm was sentenced to 10 years and
illegal possession of ammunition he was sentenced to five years’
