Delft Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects who shot and killed three people. According to SAPS spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut, the bodies of two men and a woman were discovered in a shack at an informal settlement. Traut said the deceased were all in their 20s.
“Preliminary investigation indicated that the victims were shot and killed. The motive for the murders is yet to be established and arrests are yet to be made,” he said.
This come after 26-year-old Constable Shamila Arendse was shot dead outside her home in Delft in the
Western Cape on Tuesday night. She was attached to the Table Bay Harbour police
station in Cape Town and was off-duty at the time of her death.
