Man found with gunshot wounds at Mitland Cemetery

Kensington Police are on a man hunt after a 30-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to his body on Monday at Maitland cemetery.

The police's Joseph Swartbooi says a 39-year-old woman was also wounded in the incident.

“Upon arrival at the scene at Maitland cemetery Gate 1, at around 20:35, they found the body of a male who sustained gunshot wounds to his body. The 30-year-old victim were declared deceased on the scene by the medical personnel. A 39-year-old woman who sustained gunshot wounds to her leg, was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The motive for the attack on the victims is unknown”.
