Western Cape police have initiated its 72-hour activation plan in search for suspects who shot and killed three men aged 24, 30 and 32, and critically wounding two 30-year-olds, in Harare, Khayelitsha, on Monday evening.
The police’s Andre Traut said the duo are in hospital receiving
medical treatment and that police are probing cases of murder and attempted
murder.
Traut added that the motive for the attack is unknown at
this stage.
‘’It is believed that unknown suspects entered a residence
in Siphendule Crescent at around 20:05 and opened fire at the occupants before fleeing
the scene empty handed.’’
‘’The two wounded victims were admitted to a medical
facility for treatment. The motive for the murders and attempted murders is yet
to be determined,’’ added Colonel Andrè Traut.
