Unknown suspects leaves empty handed after killing three and wounding two, in Harare, Khayelitsha.

Western Cape police have initiated its 72-hour activation plan in search for suspects who shot and killed three men aged 24, 30 and 32, and critically wounding two 30-year-olds, in Harare, Khayelitsha, on Monday evening.

The police’s Andre Traut said the duo are in hospital receiving medical treatment and that police are probing cases of murder and attempted murder.

Traut added that the motive for the attack is unknown at this stage.

‘’It is believed that unknown suspects entered a residence in Siphendule Crescent at around 20:05 and opened fire at the occupants before fleeing the scene empty handed.’’

‘’The two wounded victims were admitted to a medical facility for treatment. The motive for the murders and attempted murders is yet to be determined,’’ added Colonel Andrè Traut.
