Man accused of killing 3 family members in Bishop Lavis, abandons bail

The man accused of killing three of his family members in Bishop Lavis last week, has abandoned his bail application

Cevyin Kemp appeared in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates Court on Monday.

the mass murder took place in Nooitgedacht, Bishop Lavis, last Wednesday,

Cevyin Kemp allegedly murdered Elmoine Kemp, 46, her 13-year-old son Peter and her sister Shireen Isaacs, 54.

National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said the case has been postponed until 16 March 2023 for further investigation.
