Muizenberg police captain stabbed to death in Khayelitsha

 
Western Cape detectives are on the hunt for the killer of a police captain, who was stabbed to death in Khayelitsha on Saturday. The police captain was attached to the Muizenberg SAPS.

According to police, a suspect has yet to be arrested. The fatal stabbing of the 37-year-old police captain are the subject of a murder investigation. The Hawks have set their sights on a perpetrator who has yet to be arrested.

Police spokesperson Novela Potelwa said further details about the deceased would be released after consultation with his family.

"The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by Hawks detectives, who are pursuing specific leads as part of the investigation. SAPS management have expressed condolences to the family of the police captain," said Potelwa.
