An 18-year-old man was arrested in Wentworth, Durban for alleged murder

According to Wentworth police Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo, an 18-year-old man named Dondre Addison was taken into custody for the alleged murder of a 17-year-old juvenile. The event that led to the arrest happened on the 27 of June near Richard Winn Road in Wentworth, Durban.



The victim was shot and killed by the suspect while he was walking to his school to attend classes during the winter break. After putting in a lot of effort, Wentworth investigators captured Addison on last week Friday, he was then charged with murder and appeared before the Durban Magistrate's Court.

The defendant has been remanded in custody, and he will return to court on the on Friday to make a formal bail request.
