Western Cape police are seeking the assistance of the public to help trace two persons who can help with the investigation, regarding a shooting incident that occurred on 25 May 2023 in Constantia.
The police’s Anelisiwe Manyana said four people were shot
and killed in Constantia and six suspects were spotted fleeing the scene in a
blue Hyundai and white VW Golf GTI
‘’Later two people were seen under a bridge on the N1
driving a white VW Passat and the same VW Golf GTI from the scene. It is
believed that these two can assist the police in the investigation of the
murders mentioned above,’’ said Manyana.
At the time, Bush Radio News reported that four people - two
females and two males - aged between 40 and 50, believed to be of Bulgarian descent, were murdered, in Constantia. One of the Constantia mass shooting
victims was wanted in Bulgaria for various offences, including murder. Local
media in the European country, said an Interpol Red Notice was issued for the
man, identified as Krasimir Kamenov, at the end of April. Kamenov was accused
in absentia by the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office in Bulgaria, as the murder of
Lyubomir Ivanov, a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who was
shot in Sofia at the beginning of 2022.
Anyone with information or who knows the whereabouts of the
people depicted in the photographs are urged to contact Lt Col Dean Kiewiets
