Western Cape police are probing a case of murder after a
taxi driver was shot at point blank range in Retreat on Wednesday.
SUPPLIEDThe police’s FC van Wyk says the motive for the attack is
unknown. No arrests has been made as yet.
‘’The deceased was a driver of a white Toyota quantum and
was sitting in the taxi, possibly waiting for passengers. While he was sitting,
he was approached by an unidentified male approaching him and shot at him. He
was declared deceased by medical personnel,’’ said Captain F.C van Wyk.
