Police in Richards Bay arrested a 19 year old who was wanted for the murder of 21 year old Khanya Mthembu. Mthembu was stabbed to death after having an altercation with the suspect on Sunday.
On Wednesday, the Richards Bay Crime Prevention
Police Officers with the help of intelligence gathered as the suspect was hitchhiking
and wanted to escape. The operation was successful when a police officer who
was driving an unmarked police vehicle offered the suspect a lift leading to
the arrest.
The suspect is expected to appear in the
Richards Bay court on Friday.
