Two people were killed and another injured in a shooting incident that occurred in Rylands in the early hours of Thursday.
Police said the motive for the attack is unknown at this
stage.

led to a shooting incident in the early hours of Thursday morning, 06 February
2025, in College Road, Rylands, in which a 24-year-old man and a 30-year-old
female were shot and fatally wounded and a 24-year-old man wounded,’’ said Sergeant
Wesley Twigg, Western Cape police spokesperson.
‘’Police members responded to a complaint of a shooting and
upon arrival on the scene they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their
bodies. The male and female victims were declared deceased on the scene by
medical personnel, while the other victim was taken to a medical facility for
medical treatment,’’ he added.
No arrests have been made and police are investigating two
counts of murder and one of attempted murder.
