Manenberg police are probing a murder after a man was shot and killed in Heideveld.

on Wednesday morning.
‘’ The circumstances surrounding this incident
cited in your enquiry, are now the subject of an investigation by the South
African Police Service... Upon their arrival at the crime scene in Alison Court,
Heideveld at about 09:40, they found the body of a 19 year old man who
sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The victim was declared deceased on the scene
by the medical personnel. The unknown suspects fled the scene and they are yet
to be arrested. The motive for this attack is believed to be gang related,’’
said Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi, Western Cape police spokesperson.
