Crime scene experts are currently at a crime scene in Nyanga Taxi rank combing the area for clues following a shooting incident on Wednesday morning. According to police, several unidentified suspects randomly shot at a taxi injuring several people
‘’Nyanga SAPS members were dispatched to the shooting
incident immediately. There are
currently ten people shot in total of which two females were declared deceased
on the scene due to injuries sustained. Seven other females and one male were
treated for gunshot wounds by the emergency services and taken to nearby medical
facilities for treatment,’’ said Captain F.C Van Wyk, Western Cape police
spokesperson.
