According to reports two men and a woman were killed in
Ekuphumleni informal settlement in the early hours of this morning. Police
spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said “The suspects fled the scene, and
the motive is still unknown. The Serious Violent Crimes Unit is investigating
and following several leads”.
Meanwhile on Saturday a silver Toyota Avanza was found with multiple bullet holes and two females were found inside the vehicle and a male was found meters away from the vehicle shot and killed in Joe Slovo.
Police spokesperson Colonel AndrĂ© Traut said “The victims
were two women found inside the vehicle and a 36-year-old man discovered
nearby. A family member said the man had previously worked in the taxi industry
and that one of the women was reportedly his girlfriend. The motive remains
unknown and no arrests have been made”.
