Shooting incidents across the Cape Flats continues unabated. A man was shot and killed last night in Prince George Drive. Yesterday afternoon, a woman was shot and wounded in a crossfire between gangs in Tafelsig. Few hours later, two people were fatally shot in Tierkloof Street.

The 16 and 19-year-olds were gunned down on the Corner of
Bourne road and kriebos link in Leonsdale, last night. A 12-year-old girl and a
63-year-old woman were also wounded in the shooting.
‘’According to reports SAPS members attended to a shooting
incident at the mentioned address and upon their arrival they found two males
on the scene. Medical personnel were already busy to attend to them. Both were
declared deceased on the scene due to injuries sustained. The community also
alerted the members of the 12-year-old girl who sustain gunshot wounds to the
hip and thigh and the 63-year-old woman who sustain a gunshot wound to the
stomach. They found the girl at a premises in Glochester Place, 15th Avenue,
Leonsdale and the 63-year-old woman at n nearby hospital,’’ said Captain F.C
van Wyk, Western Cape police spokesperson.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under
investigation and arrests are yet to be made. The motive for the attack is
believed to be gang related. Elsies River police registered two counts of murder
and two attempted murders
