South Africa was given a large support of its ability to host a successful Confederations Cup and 2010 Soccer World Cup by the present of world controlling body Fifa, Sepp Blatter yesterday.
Speaking at a media briefing in Johannesburg, Blatter said that he fully believed that the Local Organising Committee would succeed with what was being termed a dress rehearsal for 2010.
Bafana Bafana will play Asian champions Iraq in the opening match at Ellis Park at 16:00 tomorrow.
