Confederation’s Cup to kick-off at 4pm

Excitement and tension is almost real as tens of thousands of soccer fans began to gather at Ellis Park and other TV-big screen viewing points for the opening game of the Confederation Cup, which kicks-off at four this afternoon when South Africa take on Iraq.

According to an informal survey among fans which revealed that while there are some concerns among them, most of the country appears to be behind Bafana Bafana all the way.

According to reports the most popular score prediction for this afternoon is that South Africa will win by two goals to one.
